01 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wasting Time Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), an independent game development team based in Granada, Spain, governing your access to and use of the video game Temporal Thugs and any related services, updates, or content (collectively, the "Game" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Temporal Thugs — through any platform, including Google Play or Steam — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Game.

These Terms must be read together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference and forms part of this agreement.

02 Eligibility and Age Requirements

Temporal Thugs is rated PEGI 12 and is intended for players aged 12 years and older. By using the Game, you represent that you meet this minimum age requirement.

Notice for users aged 12–13 (Spain and EU): Under Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and the GDPR, the age of digital consent in Spain is 14 years. If you are between 12 and 13 years old, you may only use the Game with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Game, you confirm that such consent has been obtained. We reserve the right to request verifiable proof of parental consent at any time.

If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to use the Game under any circumstances. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has accessed the Game, we will take steps to prevent further access and to delete any associated data.

03 Description of the Service

Temporal Thugs is an online multiplayer video game developed and published by Wasting Time Studio. The Game includes features such as:

  • Online multiplayer matches with real-time gameplay
  • Lobby creation and matchmaking
  • Display of player names during gameplay sessions
  • Optional in-game purchases distributed through the Google Play Store or Steam

The Game is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate planned outages or significant changes in advance.

04 Accounts and Authentication

Wasting Time Studio does not operate its own account system. To access online multiplayer features, you must authenticate using one of the following supported third-party platforms:

  • Steam — via your Valve Steam account
  • Google Play Games — via your Google account

Authentication is facilitated through Epic Online Services (EOS), a backend service provided by Epic Games, Inc. We only receive your in-game display name and an anonymous platform-specific user ID. We never receive or store your email address, password, payment information, or any other credentials associated with your third-party accounts.

Your display name shown in-game is the name associated with your Steam or Google account at the time of login. Lobby names created during gameplay are processed through Epic Online Services and are not recorded by us beyond the duration of the session.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party accounts. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised access to those accounts.

05 User Conduct

When using Temporal Thugs, you agree to behave in a manner that is lawful, respectful, and in keeping with the spirit of fair play. You agree not to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorised software (hacks, bots, aimbots, speed tools) to gain an unfair advantage
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game or its components
  • Use the Game for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Game servers or the experience of other players
  • Create lobby names that are offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Impersonate Wasting Time Studio or any other person or entity
  • Use the Game in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms

We currently do not operate a formal ban system. However, we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Service for users who violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other players or to the Game, at our sole discretion.

06 Intellectual Property

All original content in Temporal Thugs — including but not limited to the game code, artwork, game design, characters, maps, animations, sound design, and music — is the exclusive intellectual property of Wasting Time Studio, protected under Spanish and international copyright law.

The Game also makes use of certain third-party assets (including fonts and audio assets) which are licensed under their respective licences. All applicable licence notices are included within the Game's asset files. Nothing in these Terms limits or modifies those third-party licences.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and play the Game solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Game
  • Create derivative works based on the Game's original content
  • Use the Game's name, logos, or visual identity for commercial purposes without our prior written consent

We do welcome fan content, Let's Play videos, and streaming of Temporal Thugs for non-commercial purposes. If you have any questions about permitted uses, please contact us.

07 Third-Party Platforms and Services

The Game integrates with the following third-party platforms and services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

We have no control over these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or data practices. Your use of any third-party platform is entirely at your own risk and subject to that platform's terms. We expressly disclaim any liability arising from your use of, or inability to use, any third-party service.

08 In-App Purchases

Temporal Thugs may offer optional in-game purchases (such as cosmetic items or content packs). All purchases made within the Game are processed exclusively by:

  • Google Play Billing — for purchases made through the Android version of the Game
  • Steam — for purchases made through the Steam version of the Game

We do not directly collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details. All payment transactions are governed entirely by the terms and policies of the applicable platform (Google or Valve). For refund requests or billing disputes, please contact the relevant platform's support service directly.

Purchases are final. Unless required by applicable law or the policies of the relevant platform, all purchases are non-refundable. Virtual items and content obtained through the Game have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for real-world currency.

We reserve the right to modify, remove, or discontinue any purchasable content at any time. In the event that content you have purchased is permanently removed, we will consider reasonable remedies in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

09 Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data in connection with the Game is described in detail in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Game, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described in that policy. The processing of your personal data is subject to Spanish law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679), and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

10 Disclaimers and No Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Temporal Thugs is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components
  • Defects will be corrected, or that servers will always be available
  • The Game will meet your requirements or expectations
  • Third-party platforms (Steam, Google Play, Epic Online Services) will remain available or unchanged

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits statutory rights that you may have under applicable consumer protection law in Spain or the European Union, which cannot be contractually waived.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wasting Time Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Game, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, game progress, or virtual items
  • Interruptions to service, including server downtime
  • Actions taken by third-party platforms (Steam, Google, Epic Games)
  • Unauthorised access to your third-party account

In any case, our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us directly in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have made no direct payments to us, our aggregate liability shall not exceed €50 (fifty euros).

These limitations do not apply to liability arising from our fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including Spanish consumer protection legislation.

12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Game, our practices, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-game notification panel the next time you launch the Game. The updated Terms will also be published at this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

If you continue to use the Game after the changes take effect, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must discontinue use of the Game.

For material changes that affect how we process personal data, we will follow the notification requirements set out in our Privacy Policy and, where required by GDPR, seek your renewed consent.

13 Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Your access to the Game through third-party platforms (Google Play, Steam) is also governed by those platforms' terms.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate your access to the Game if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other players or to the integrity of the Game.

Upon termination, the licence granted to you under Section 6 of these Terms will immediately cease. Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 9 (Privacy), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 14 (Governing Law) shall survive termination.

14 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and applicable European Union regulations, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, which these Terms do not override.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Granada, Spain. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
